What’s the difference between a Ry 9 clinician and a trainer who isn’t TPI certified?

There are tons of great trainers in the world. But the difference between a Ry 9 trainer and a typical, run-of-the-mill trainer is the direct relation we can discover between a client’s body and their golf swing. Ry 9 has a series of thirteen functional movement screens that each client is put through initially, which give us the blue print for how a client’s workout program will be built. When we combine our discoveries with a client’s goals, we’re able to develop a truly unique and effective workout program.

Do I need to be a golfer to use Ry Nine?

Not at all. Ry Nine programs are developed for all types of individuals and goals. Whether it’s lowering a handicap or lowering a waist size, all can be reached with Ry Nine Fitness.

What does the “9” in “Ry 9 Fitness” mean?

Ry 9 Fitness takes great pride in creating new “Habits” for their clients.  In life, it takes the human brain/body 8 weeks to develop a new habit.  Our goal is that by the 9th week of performing a Ry 9 program, our clients will have developed a new healthy habit for working out and living a healthy lifestyle.

There also just happens to be a front nine and back nine on a golf course… so it really works.

What is TPI?

How do I start?

The first item on your check list is the functional screen which will give you a Golf Fitness Handicap score. To schedule a 75 minute functional screen, please contact us. From there your Ry Nine clinician and you will collectively start putting together a game plan for your customized program.

How long will it take to see a difference in my golf game?

The length of time that your brain has taken to develop your currently swing, and how engraved it’s become in your muscle memory, impacts a lot. So this question really depends how frequently and consistently you work on your new corrective exercises and workouts.

How many sessions are included in a program?

Every program design is custom. Depending on the frequency, and determination on your part, a monthly game plan is designed just for you. 5x, 4x, 3x, or even 2x a week is scheduled with your Ry 9 clinician each month.
